Single and Looking... :)
Ive never been one to feel like I need a mate, but Ive been doing a lot of traveling lately, being the 3rd wheel, all that jazz, and I cant help but think the only thing missing in my life is a special someone to share it with. I have a great job, make good money, have a house and 2 cars, stress free life, but have NO ONE TO SHARE IT WITH! So I think I am ready to start looking.
There are a few folks that I am interested in, but they are with others, or too far away. I dont want a long distance relationship, but I determine long distance to mean anyone living more than a 4 hour drive from me. I have long weekends every other weekend, so a 4 hour drive is fine for a weekend visit, which would be better than dating someone online and only seeing them once a year at a convention. Also living in Florida is a big plus, since should the person I find be in florida and we become serious, moving jobs in my profession is much easier staying in the state of florida.
The kind of person Id like to be with needs to be somewhat athletic, being able to play sports..particularly golf, or at least have a like of sports and sporting events. While I like gaming, I really dont play them too often, so I dont feel Id get along too well with someone that was an exclusive gamer and didnt do much else. Weightlifting is great too since I love going to the gym. Someone that is competitive is a big plus. I love fun competition because I feel it helps you improve yourself if you have someone to go up against :)
I usually swoon over the artsy types, though I dont know how well that would pan out in a long term relationship if there wasnt some other linking traits like sports or photography. Not saying we have to share EVERYTHING in terms of hobbies, but a few commonalities are always needed otherwise its just 2 people doing their own thing and not together.
Im not too big into music. I cant cook. I like art and reading, but I dont appreciate it enough. I like geeky things, but I usually dont have the attention span to really get deep into them. Id love to find someone that is also enthusiastic about those things to help me learn more about them. I love encouraging others to go for their goals.
Werewolves! UNF!
I love photography! Traveling would be much better with someone that also loves it, finding places to take awesome pictures...golfing...eating...mmmmm
As far as looks go Im not usually that picky, except that I dont like back hair! Ewww! :) Id prefer a person with a bit of heft on them, be it fat or muscle..or both! ;) But smaller is good too..makes me feel that much more big! But they need to be somewhat active, like going out to DO things (not just go out to drink or party), challenging me to do the same.
Age preference is between 25-40, since I am 34.
I love going to the movies.
My personality is pretty easy going. Im agreeable on major issues, but I do love to play devils advocate just to have some fun. Its not always good to just AGREE on everything...so a little disagreement, even if its just on the proper procedure on how to make a taco, is fun to me, and Id like someone that can dish it back to me. If I really like you I will pick on you, but I know the limits an respect them.
I am a bit of an introvert when it comes to meeting new people in large groups. I prefer small group gatherings (6-8 people) over going out to a huge crowd (aka Bars, concerts...). I hate bars and much prefer the bowling alley. I prefer DOING things rather than just sitting around talking and drinking.
So personality types I like are the somewhat sarcastic, but also cute personalities. I like fursuits and cute things. I do not like depressed people for too long, not to say I dont understand or care about folks that get sad, but if you are ALWAYS EMO then there will be a problem. I want to be with someone that is happy, not constantly depressed. so..SMILE! :)
So if youre within 4 hours of the Florida Panhandle and want to get to know a big heavy golfing husky, send me a note or message! Lets see what happens

Also pushing your significant other toward goals is such a plus! I hope you find someone like that, in fact, I wish you the same kind of luck I have stumbled upon my life =]!
Now, I may be taken, I may be 21, soon to be 22, and, I may be near Mobile, but, at the risk of being bold, and, double the risk since I'm 100% a complete stranger; if you need someone to talk to, either through a messenger or in person, who's completely out of the loop, let me know. I'd be more than happy to help.
In all honesty, right now, I'm probably slightly confusing, but, the hydrocodone should pass shortly~.
No doubt you'll find many happy folks to hang out with in your immediate area. I'd suggest trying to find local fur meets as well, and meet folks that way too. No doubt you'll find a special someone eventually.
But I can relate to your problems with finding people you're interested in. Since I live a sheltered life, I can only look for online relationships for now--- as well as people being taken or uninterested or far away or hard to talk to.
Good luck though. I hope you find an awesome mate. :3
(I wish you luck on this ad all the same. ;D )
(Also, not matching nearly everything else).
I can empathise with not liking going out just for drinks, or somewhere where you have to shout to be able to hear each other. Or trying to meet a large group of new people. Much easier to meet a few new people when you have a few friends there too.
I can't cook

Good luck finding someone, you seem like a nice guy :)
Del is not only absolutely adorable IRL, he has a heart of pure gold. How has has managed to stay single is beyond my comprehension. When I stayed at his place in April, he took me around to the beach to go swimming; a fort to go and play around like a couple of cubs (crawling through pitch-black tunnels, climbing on the cannons, exploring the different levels; a lighthouse to show me a spectacular view for miles; and out for sushi and wine for dinner. If we had more time together, we would have gone to the gym, golfing, etc. He has an infectiously optimistic attitude and fun-loving personality. Del also really does love friendly competition and texts me pictures after workouts to show his muscle progress and pokes me to keep focused on my weightlifting as well.
His house is very clean and orderly, as well as decorated quite smartly with lots of his own art (photographs) and furry art. This massive husky would be an awesome catch for some lucky fur.
