It seems I have an inspiration to remake some famous pics that are floating around but outdated. I got a good try of it with Asthexiancal's pic of Impmon from waaay back in the stone age. I really enjoy breathing new life into old art. The question is...does it impede on some of the artists if i choose their work? I hope to choose one pic a week to remake in my style.
I am working currently on a master splinter pic (not a remake, but I worked together with Frickabee to come up with it...). I think you who are splinter fans will really enjoy it.
On another note, I seem to be stuck in Pose-mode (solo characters in art.) That's all good and stuff, but it gets very repetative after a while. I need to start touching naughty bit to naughty bit some time.
ANyways, back to the remake project. What is the protocol for remaking unsigned artworks? Does that make them fair game, or untouchable? I like adding details to pics where they dont exist. If any of you have any nominations (toons only at this point..sorry), run it by me with a link in here, and if I like it enough, I will ask the original artist.

Darkmark WANTS this one redone by someone else. And I'm sure he'd like it if it was my main character doing it this time, but you can do whatever you want with it. XP;; (If it was Zohashi, she wouldn't look so...angry, though. =P)
Also, as far as legality goes, it's safe by copyright, but I can't say anything for how people would react. Always people out there looking to stir up drama.
