the pain

It hurts so much. The surgeon didnt perscibe strong enough pain killers. I had to triple-up on my oxy-codone just to stop shaking and crying. I even went to the local er and sat in the waiting room to get morphine. After shaking umcontrollably for 40 minutes and begging for an injection, one nurse said there was a 3 hour wait but the doctors knew i was there and could see me on the security camera. I got irrate and said a few choice words before wheeling myself out, empty-pawed. So now im back at home, trying to control the pain enough so i dont naw off my own foot. So, needless to say, im not a happy camper.

Is there anyway of contacting your doctor and getting on stronger painkillers?
I hope for your rapid recovery and a quick end to the pain.
Its an old trick my dad and I use all the time.
Best of luck and hope you get better quick.

Have you ever taken it before? What mg did they give you?
I know for example Vicodin doesn't work on me, but Norco does. (Not as strong as what you have)
But since you have the oxy already they won't write you another prescription :/
This really sucks hon... Oxycontin is the strongest pill-form medicine you can get, Morphine's only good through a needle... I wish they woulda given you some, but at the same time you would have had to have waited for all the Oxy to come out of your system before they could give you the Morphine anyways D:
Maybe go to your doctor and get a higher mg of oxy...it should be possible since it's a "new" prescription...and you're in real pain.
And they wouldn't give you Duragesic patches 'cause you're not dying.
I hope you feel better ♥ :<
the one time I was in the hospital, they couldn't give me anything because my heart beat was too shallow.
just ignore it, try something to take your mind off of it, like a movie or video game that really pisses you off.
You're in my thoughts.
Let me know if I can do anything for you.
I hope you have a DVR that's filled with prerecorded shows or a Netflix account. I know my Dish Network DVR was my
saving grace when I was house bound for three weeks with a badly sprained ankle last summer. It helped my keep
my mind off of the pain very well, and not to look at my ankle. It was so badly bruised it reminded me of a Picasso.
I think you would have better luck if you tried to get an appointment with to a general physician or pain management clinic, tell them what you're currently taking and say that it's not relieving the pain in your paw. If you have a doctor that already knows you that would be best.
Also, I believe your mental state greatly affects how you feel physically. There is some scientific evidence for this. If you are depressed you will be more aware that your body is hurting, and will feel worse. Try to stay positive and think about the good things in your life and how this is just a minor setback and don't think of it as a tragedy. Things will work out in the end and someday it will just be one more story to tell.
I hope you start feeling better.
