Thanks for sharing the link. i just passed 45 minutes examining all the pictures. I can see the BAI i ordered but i have to admit i will never have one. I just cancelled my order with Merek since he can not deliver. Pity....

There is such a nice collection of toys there. Thou, i have the zenith, the blue aaron dragon, and many other big ones but i would have to choose one if i ever go to such a fest.

He told me that jets totally fucked up the run of the rams. So he's still waiting for new ones.
From all the big toys, may favs for the pool are Kwisa and the Aaron draggy.
The toy show was a real blast, so much interest from all the people. And the boss from inflatableworld.de was there as well, so we had all the important inflatable makers together.

Wait, Jets? Bai was supposed to have been made by the same people that made Fenris...

I, for one, am upset considerably that they couldn't make things work with that builder. Best vinyl in the known universe.

I am totally surprised that Jets is involved in the BAI project. it is very unusual for jets to mess up on a project. I was also on an impression that Merek had moved away from Jets for some reason and was trying to have the toys made by someone else. As for the show, it did look like a blast indeed. Maybe someday, i might take the plane to visit europe and go to that fur con.

No real point to cancelling an order this far in...what's done is done, and they WILL get delivered...

Well, that is what i told myself many times that there was no point cancelling the order but i believe i gave a good enough chance to deliver the goods. This project is at a standstill for way too long. After i got on this project, i got on the zenith and got it. Then, i got onto Aaron and got it. The otter was created and came out. Only Merek seems unable to complete his own project. If he comes with them later at a good price, i might still buy one off him but only if i know he can deliver them. We are talking of several years of waiting now. This is just becoming unreasonable. this could take ten years or more. It does not make sense.

TEN years?? Not even close. The entire custom toy business as a whole has barely been around that long.

Balto has been two years in progress at this time...it all depends on the manufacturer, and how long it takes to get something right.

Another thing to consider is how much any given toy actually means to you. Fenris and Balto, for example, I would NEVER cancel an order for, unless a formal announcement of project cancellation was made.

I think you are right about the dependance on the project. In my case, i got into the BAI because i loved the design but i have received many toys including Fenris which i call Scarface. He is my only toy that has a name that i can actually remember. I tried to give a name twice to my zenith and failed to remember it. but Scarface is something else.

Scarface is as big as the BAI, he is made by the same person as the BAI. His vinyl is very soft and stretchy. When i ride it, he has the proper size and shape that i crave. Just imagine, i was riding my Aaron dragy and still thought about my Scarface. So i got attached to him pretty hard. I probably therefore have lost the urge to get a BAI.

The problem with the BAI is that the project is not going anywhere now. I hate to let lit go because i do love the design and artwork but it is just dead, sort of. Even Merek seems desperate about it. Beguining of summer, i gave him a few months more and told him also to wait a few months still before cancelling the whole ordeal. Without any news of movement on this project, Force is to admit that Puffy and even Aaron are providing while Merek is not.

If he would tell me that there is movement and that it is getting actually made, i would have gladly waited even more. But, when i asked to cancel this deal, he said nothing to make me change my mind. I am still waiting for the cancellation confirmation thou. I really want this toy actually. I have just lost all hope.

When you put it that way (that Fenris made you do it) I can believe it much easier...
