IM CONFUSED BOUT STUFF (my heart is in a war with itself. My mind isn't making it any easier)

Annnndddddd thats about it.

One last thing: My team fortress 2 game will not work.

I HAVE:

-Tried restarting steam many times
-Restarted my computer
-Reinstalled TF2 (I got rid of ALL TF2 files in the TF2 folder)

What happens:

After the intro animations or whatever, when it starts to load the main screen, it just closes the game. If I skip the animations, it closes the game, if I let the animation run all the way through, it closes the game when it's done. The closing of the game is instant.

Help me please, if you can. ^^;;;;
