Next week...o.O
I am not dead! So there is that. (Even though from my last submissions and my tumblr, one might assumed I have)
No updates on art, stories, essays, or art for a while, I am sorry. But..life man, life has a way of getting in the way of, well everything really. Sowwy. :<
So if you don't know, I am the assistant manager for a little catering group called the Cutie Mark Café (Bronies...so weird.) which is a Japanese maid café. (Bear with me, I understand the name makes no sense in relation to the topic.) As the business head of the organisation I get to do thrilling things such as create bank accounts, negotiate contracts, order business cards and stress over things not going as planed (amongst a list of other things)
And, if you read my "What is "Furry"?" Essay, then you -might- know I will be hosting a panel at RuroniKon on the furry fandom! What we are, what we do, what is anthro, address the silly ever present rumours among other topics. Because of my panel-hosting-ness I've been working on my visual and verbal presentation. The going is...slow. The essay/outline was very quick to pen...but can I put together this essay in a reasonable amount of time? No. XD
While I do not care for Anime, my friend has dragged me into cosplaying with her at the Con. Thankfully she picked a non-anime character for me to go as, so I am working on sewing my Jafar cosplay. (Looking like a man; make-up, binding, deeper voice...this should be interesting to pull off) But because I dyed my hair red, people would stab me if I didn't cosplay the chcick from Brave. (Thankfully, my mom used to make medieval dresses and has two green ones, so I don't have to start from scratch) But...that's not all. XD There is also a ball the friday of the Con, so I was thinking about repairing one of my mother's medieval ball gowns to go to that event with. And...of course, because I work at the maid café, I also have to bring along my maid cosplay. (Thank god I finished that two conventions ago..) So...four cosplays...two days. My god have mercy on my soul. (Then of course I have to bring my "normie" clothes for the furry panel)
That café I mentioned before...Well, we'll be catering at the con, so I have go negotiate with the hotel Restraunt manager about what our cut is. So...I hope that goes well...
Oh, and did I mention all this needs to be done by the Con! Which is September 14-15! Which is NEXT WEEK! :D *twitch*
Oh, also! Wooots! I finally made it to 1000 page views! :D
