Whats wrong with Vampires? I think Vampires are fine (Minus Twilight of course). I have a character with a Vampiric side even. Just for fun mostly, its not her overall character.
And Neon colors are alright unless its eyebleeding bright and a rainbow.

But...I guess its just not in your taste is all it is. And it annoys you.

aww the good old days of chat RP. Been years sense I've done anything with that. Got fed up with it 'cas I could never find anyone good enough RP with. Vampiric animal characters are ridiculous.

vampires in general rile me ...

My only vampiric character was my Lilmothiit in Skyrim (Lilmothiit are fox-people from ancient Black Marsh), and admittedly I chose it mostly to explain how someone from a race that went extinct over 500 years beforehand came back. Then again, I'm also a TES lorefag and perfectionist in general, I hate leaving gaps in my characters!

Also seconding chat RPers are awful recently. The pony chats I hang out on has literally everyone as an alicorn, and not just an alicorn, but a grimdark THE WORLD IS A HORRIBLE PLACE grimdark, and I'm just like, "What show are you guys watching?!" My list of RPers that aren't crap has shrunk to like, 4. XD

've been on a few pony RP sites, they do tend to attract those with absolutely no skill, either through youth and inexperience, or worse, through people who just are awful at it and will never change. At least with the former, you can see some improvement, the latter, I actually wound up arguing with someone that their one-line posts were shit and they needed to put some effort into their posting. Unfortunately it's either getting awful RPers, or having no playerbase to RP with, those appear to be the two choices! Makes me miss the heyday of the old MU*s, where the inexperienced were eaten alive by the RPers.

And yes, they're all princesses, or at the very least something that's trying to imitate a princess, like a Changeling or possibly something that's gotten a hold of an artifact of that power. Not everyone can be goddamn Duke Nukem. Playing a character that cannot lose is so, so much more boring than a flawed character. Even in My Little Pony, the characters are heavily flawed, it's called good writing.

I think I'm just a jaded, ranting old RPer. XD I've been RPing for about 15 years!

To bad Rp'ers of course ! I mean i'm with you guys seeing as i have been Rp'ing for several years now. I can understand that some people want to learn at that's cool, But don't try it act like your the best if you know you arent. Practice makes perfect doesn't really apply always xD

People that can't RP really blow my mind. Some of the stuff that they say is just out of this world. If you can't think past one sentence, you probably shouldn't be RPing.

Some hybrids are well done. Some are hilariously bad and fairly ridiculous. Most fit into the latter category. Don't even get me started on crazy neon colors; and people that think that it is possible to tattoo fur that usually go along with said colors.

Yes! I've never got that either. All these wolves with tribal markings ... I'm like ... wha... how ... uh....?

But yeah! completely agree. I know everyone has to start somewhere, but some of them >.< oy, they blow my mind! In a BAD way xD

Hybrids I can deal with, but I absolutely despise the following characters:
1. Vampires; It's cool as a gag, but if every five minutes I hear "vampire," I'm out.
2. Clones or characters that underwent some sort of bio-engineering process; At that point, the designer's run out of ideas to make their character unique.
3. Flawless characters, or characters that have no weaknesses; Now you're just trying to make my characters inferior.

CLONES oh god... pain. just pain. Like Twins... i dont get it. why... just ...no. And bioengineering is a DEFINITE nono
