So yeah, I had an... eventful weekend to say the least. Saturday I woke up around ten and left my house to go down to LA (Garden Grove more specifically) at around 1045. I picked up  kavi_Chayumar in Santa Barbara on the way down, and he was my navigation buddy ^^ We stopped by an In n Out, which was a first for him, and continued on to LA. The drive was fine, a little traffic but nothing bad. We had just pulled in to the hotel parking lot at around 1430 when I get a call from my best friend/roomate with some bad news. He tells me that his mom, who's been fighting cancer for a few years now, wasnt going to make it and I needed to go say goodbye to her. (I was really close with her). So I asked Kavi to come with me, and we drove to Victorville, Ca, which is two hours away. I did all my business there, which took about 30 minutes, and we drove back to Garden Grove. We made it to the Prancing Skiltaire furmeet/party around 7, 3 hours late, but what can you do? I met a lot of great people there;  bandit ,  Atlas_Rysios , and  silia just to name a few (I havent found other peoples FA's yet lol). So yeah, bittersweet weekend, and I plan on going back every month starting in November!
