The gaming community...

You have entered Da Blitz Arena... :D has made me sick this day. So sick that I'm ashamed to be considered a gamer.
Seriously, I'm completely pissed right now at the shear amount of butthurt over the Bayonetta 2 game being an exclusive to Nintendo. There were even death threats to the creators, JUST a few hours. Really?!
Ok you whiny fucking gamers, we get it, you were hoping it would be back on Xbox 360 and that piece of crap PS3 but now is a Nintendo exclusive. This is what I need you losers to do though: THINK outside your fucking asses and SEE beyond what you hear.
1: The original Bayonetta 2 project -- was DROPPED. Dead. Cancelled. Finito! Aka, we originally were NOT gonna get another Bayonetta due to problems with Sega apparently.
2: The sole reason we are getting another is because Nintendo, being the good people they are, are funding the revival the project.
3: Due to this fact that Nintendo is the sole investor in this project, they do hold the right to make the game exclusive.
4: Do you REALLY wanna butthurt this much about a game you've wanted for a long time and actually have the game OR not have the game at all? Screw the fuck out of which platform is on.
Come on people, it is not a hard decision: Have the game on the Wii U OR not have the game & let it collect dust in on some cutting room floor.
I think my man Maxi(maximilian) sums up my feels for all this bullshit.
Get the fuck over it, move on with your lives, and find something ACTUALLY meaningless to butthurt about.

Sorry about all of my rage being vented here, but what was excellent news that Bayonetta was finally getting a sequel turned to a horrible amount of assery and outrage from at least half of the gaming community. Never knew this was one of my buttons, but damn...I'm so rebuying the 1st game ASAP.

Why others can't see past the Nintendo Brand and the simple word "exclusive" is beyond me.
And Bayonetta 2 being exclusive means that many of the original fans will never get to play it. I don't know anyone who's getting a Wii U- we all got burned by the Wii, and some of us the 3DS, so buying a Nintendo console just isn't going to happen. Especially since they insist on all of these gimmicks as opposed to actual innovations. The last innovation that was a success was the touchscreen on the original DS- everything since then has been useless at best.
I, myself, am getting the Wii U for other reasons 'side one game, but Bayonetta being on it makes it a plus. I'm sure if people can take the time to at least give the Wii U a chance instead of immediately knocking it, they could find another reason to get one.
Oh, and yes, I've played the Wii and still think otherwise.
I've bought every Nintendo console up until now and I don't regret any of those purchases. I rather enjoyed the Virtual Console on the Wii as it allowed me to play the classics of my childhood without digging the old consoles out of storage and performing the necessary preplay rituals on the cartridges. But nostalgia only goes so far. Now that I have classic Mario and DKC games on Wii, why would I buy Wii U? Based on N's recent track record with games, it would be a waste of my money. Sure, I'll miss out on one game I really want, but I can live with that. I just don't want another console gathering dust. It's not some irrational hatred driving me to not buy it, just recent history.
I'm not saying buy it when it comes out, I'll say give it some time. Let the release and 1st 6 months influence your choice a bit more. If not, then yes, you would be missing out on not only Bayonetta, but whatever else Nintendo has planned for this new step from Family gaming. Been a Nintendo fanboy since I was young and I respect their decision in making B2 an exclusive. It was their right in doing so since the troubles w/ Sega & no one else would fund the project. While the last part of the statement is partial speculation, it still stands that Nintendo is the sole funder for the game Bayonetta 2. Their decision is good business sense, attracting the so-called "fan base" & many others to see what the Wii U can do.
Simple as that & I accept it.
The Wii U is just more of the same. All I've seen announced for it are ports of current-gen games, gimmicky hardware demos, and kid/casual games. Honestly, even the promise of a new Zelda title isn't enough to draw me in. My copy of Skyward Sword is still sitting on the shelf, unplayed, because I'm too afraid the motion controls will ruin the beloved franchise that I've spent my whole life enjoying. All it takes is one bad game to ruin a franchise forever.
