Why?

Well, it's what Pete say, leave all the drama and emotions behind. I think everyone of us has enough problems in our own life but we still almost always have ears to all of this. It's common knowledge that the fandom is a place full of drama, let's not deny it, and sometimes, it just gets too much.
No hard feeling for anyone.

Well, I have to agree with that. But like Dardo said, you aren't forced to put up with people's drama llamas... Saying that you're thinking about leaving the fandom is worst, at least for me. But here goes a fact: Everyday that goes by, I think to myself if I should keep on bothering about on being the "head-master" of the  Portuguesefur Everyone seam to want to leave, good friends want to leave, and it just leaves me a bit sad and annoyed that people are being with these decisions from all of a sudden, making me feel I'm "representing" a group of people who aren't interested in furry fandom anymore. It also bothers me to get to know when there are those furry meets like the last time in Lisboa, that just some of the people went... It grinds my gears a bit about those so called "groupies" that wouldn't bother to go to an official furmeet because someone from the groupie isn't comming. I have heard amazing things, believe me. I'm sorry for the steam blow off, but I'm not happy this time, and I should put some brakes on this. Honestly, I think I won't last until Christmas, until I leave everything myself because of my personal life; Yet, I won't leave the fandom, but I will leave many stuff behind. I just love the fandom too much. [And probabbly a bit of drama stuff but I have a new awesome artwork I could post either here on FA or dA... I haven't been feeling much to upload. Reason why? I just don't know... but its sure is not normal]. Once again I'm sorry for the steam blow off. [hehe... blow... X3 XD]

And well, our meets are still a way to hang out with your fellow furs, no dramas, no tabu's. Because behind the screen we say and do things we don't normally do. I don't recall a single meet where me or anyone else has been bothered by drama (with the exception of your close friends, that may feel like talking with you about more "deep" and personal matters) but still, everyone's on a cheerful mood, and all of us put this... drama behind and socialize.
You're representing a group of people that have something in common, somethings that's part of us. We have some faults, just like every other group of people, but we're awesome, so... ^^

And please, you know that when someone says "I'm gonna leave the fandom", they don't and deep inside, those people love it here.

Just do what i do. Keep it to yourself and to your closer friends. It's been working XD I mean, we didn't signed a psychiatrist contract or one that demands us to give attention to every one -.-

You know I've already thought about that a lot, Pete, but Dardo is right. We don't have to care about everybody's drama, and even if we do care to something specific sometimes, those good friends are there for you when you need them. :)
