It's comical how strong this kevlar fabric is haha.
it's only a total of four layers with a core layer (polyester matting), held together lightly with some Super 77 tack spray lol, for a vacuum bagging test, NOW I CAN SEE WHY IT CAN STOP BULLETS, BUT IT CAN ALSO STOP THE SHARP POINTS OF FOLDING KNIVES TOO APPARENTLY, really I thought the fibers would part easily, it sure dose with the carbon fiber and fiberglass samples anyway but damn I guess not.
I stabbed the sample piece over my hand, I'm smart guys, BUT I HAD A VERY GOOD REASON I WAS KINDA DRUNK.
now that I'm sober I have no idea why I tried that and thought it was a good idea, hey even on the hard table surface the knife didn't poke through the kevlar sample, PRETTY COOL I THOUGHT ANYWAY.
