As much as I doubt the intentions of most people looking for pit bulls in particular, this is going too far by any measure.
Also, I'd heard on the radio a while ago that there was an electrical fire (?) in your apartment complex but never got around to asking about it. How are you guys doing, and where are you staying now?

We were out of our house for 2 whole months cause of it... they sat on their asses to get it fixed. The whole building was without power, 28 families were displaced.
Me and Joel stayed at his uncles place since they had an extra bedroom... had to move all of our animals. I have everyone back except for my 45 gallon fish tank.

Agreed. There are plenty of friendly pit bulls, the dangerous ones usually were bred terribly or trained,if at all, incorrectly. They need a firm owner, not one that pushes, hits, or is too dominating cause all that will lead to is an aggressive pit. The massive over breeding of them is the problem and going out killing dogs with no discern of how they are with people, what their story is, will not help.

Chances are the person who wrote this has never been negatively impacted by the breed but is posting this out of sheer ignorance to the problem and the fact that there are friendly pits out there and that they do make up a large population of the breed kept as pets.

I wish the same thing could be said about New Zealand's pits. It's illegal to breed them here, they have to be desexed or euthanised if assessed as a potential danger. Unfortunately because the breeding is done by rather dodgy characters the pits in NZ are still bred to kill, most families with them as just a pet end up in some accident and the dog gets euthanised.

Thats a shame. The US is notorious for finding large breeding facilities used for fighting since there is little regulation over who owns what pet and who can breed. Too many people use pits here as a second income, breeding their female time after time and selling the young for 300-500$ a pup with little thought of where the pups go.
