HI guys!!
I have 5 commissions that are paid for in my list I will be trying to sketch and complete by the end of next week. I will at least have them sketched before my vacation.
For those who do not know, I am going to Walt Disney World in a matter of less than 10 days. I will be driving to Daytona Beach on the 29th and then on the 1st of October to the 5th. We are staying on resort at the Port Orleans Resort and will be celebrating my 10th wedding anniversary. (which was actually back in April)
Sad point of note is that 3 months to the day, I lost Nanook, my best pup friend. On the other hand, we got some great news today! We're getting a brand new baby Malamute puppy. She was born today. Her name is Eve. My husband and I are dorks and so I have decided to nickname her Evil Lyn (if you get the reference, you get many gold banana stickers)
Most recently however, the following events have occurred. The drain pipes on my sink rusted through and so I had to go to Lowes to pick up some PVC to fix that issue for 35$. This would not have been a problem normally, but my husband's truck decided now was a good time to break down. At the time it could have been any number of things. We ended up having to pay a tow truck 60$to take the truck back home so Rich could fix it. He did, it was an 80$ ignition module on that old truck. So, that was Monday. Tuesday, my car decided the starter was gone and when the starter went it shorted the battery so that cost me 300$. I am ONLY GLAD that this didn't happen on the way to Florida. The rest of the week was a complete waste of time. I could have just stayed in bed and been no worse for the wear.
This weekend I'm going over to
indigoangelcat's for a little while to art and eat and stuff. It's my last free weekend before I go out of town, so I wanna enjoy myself :)
Other than all that junk, I am glad I have good friends and can celebrate as well as commiserate about all the things in my life.

OH AND BEFORE I FORGET!! Those of you who are looking to get cheap sketches from me...I AM DOING $5 SKETCHES FOR CHARITY AGAIN THIS YEAR. I will be starting early, as you guys helped me raise over $600 bucks last year. I wanna make my goal $1000 to benefit the Special Olympics of Maryland! You guys can help me! Look for that to start sometime around November 1st and go into the 1st of the new year. I will sketch until my hands fall off if I have to!

I saw mama dog on FB, I am so happy you are getting a brand new baby! Can't wait to see which one you get!
Also sketches for Special Olympics!!!! *marks calender* I will be there with bells on and I'm NOT going to miss this this year'!! My brother is disabled and anyway I can support as well as get my greedy hands on Gari-arts!!!
