What To Do...

If you had to choose between moving to the other side of the world to be with someone who made you, quite literally, the happiest you've ever been, or having that person move to you...what would you choose?
Both
and I have big personal reasons to stay in our respective countries, and so we always knew that the day would come when one of us would have to say goodbye to our friends and family. But now that time is approaching, we both feel stuck. Ideally, I'd love for him to move here, because Australia is simply safer in my opinion, and our economy isn't as far down the S-end as Americas.
But that would be asking him to uproot himself from his friends...some of whom have literally saved his life on more than one occasion.
Conversely, I'd have to leave my family. They annoy me and make me hate myself, but they're still my family, and leave them would tear a hole in my heart, I'm sure.
No matter what we do though, there's still a lot of legal mumbo-jumbo to deal with...
*sighs* I dunno...advice?

regardless, it is couples like you two that truly express what it means to love someone. Living literally on the other side of the world, yet not letting it get in your way, you two are an inspiration.
If problems occurred
If trouble came up
If something made things harder on the one who moved
Could you forgive yourself for asking him to be the one to go through it?
Because, when everything else is left to the annals of history, you are the ones who have to live with your decision. And you have to be willing to accept everything that comes from the choice
