Roomate troubles...

News from the Cookie's jar
Some of you might know i have troubles with my roomate. For the others, i will resume the matter here:
She used to be my twin's girlfriend and they moved in together. We all signed a contract for 3 years.
When she was jobless, i lended her her part of the rent several month in a row. She refunded me, as soon as she got a job (she worked as an in-house nanny in a home with 2 kids and a leukemia-stricken mother). She wasn't "officially" working, so she got public funds as well (which covered her rent + 100 euros).
So, at some point, she earned about 1500 euros NET a month, with ALL of it being without any taxes on it!
Then i got my cancer.
She didn't helped me one bit at home, even grumbling that i wasn't cleaning or doing much cooking (the mere smell of food made me sick)... She even told me once square in the face that "my cancer was not that bad, that i couldn't die of it (!!!!), that i kept using it as an excuse (!!!), that i was lazy and should do my part of the shores", and the like..
My finances decreased drastically with all the medical bills to pay, and when i dared to suggest that she could maybe lend me half a rent, she snapped back that she couldn't, that she had to buy a new computer! To give you another example, we have a tax to ay for the pick-up of the trash, and she refused to pay a part of it cause she got a letter saying she hadn't to pay (of course, "officially" she only earns 1/3 of what sehe really gets!)...
Then, she splitted with my twin, for no reason whatsoever (beside the fact that some minor Star Wars actor tried to get in her pants and played the card of "i will find you a job in the USA" to achieve his goal). She believed him and tossed aside my twin.
As a result, he sleeps in my bedroom ever since (we only have 2 rooms).
(as a sidenote, she's seen the guy at Celebration 6 in the USA, and she merely let him kiss her, arguing that she "wasn't that type of girl, that sleeps with someone so easily" (in fact she was on her period - and she hates sex)... that earned her a reputation of "that blue haired girl who doesn't like the penis"(that's what he told me).. and she still thinks he's waiting for her with roses in his hands...)
She's always awfully egoistic. And also, quite dumb, to be honest.
She also lost her nanny job two months ago (and the mother died of her leukemia last week).
Through some conversations with her sister that i overheard, i knew that she was planning to leave the aparmtent without telling us anything in advance. So last week i pushed some buttons in a conversation and, as she got furious, she screamed "but anyway i don't care, as, from December on i won't be here anymore!". She stopped abruptly after that, realizing she had said too much. When i reminded her that she signed for 3 years she said "yeah, but i don't like it in here".. of course, here, she has to pay and do stuff, where she's going, the girl has a cleaning lady, and as she owns the place, there is no rent..Thanks for only thinking about yourself, b*tch.
So, from December on, i'll be one roomate less.... My twin will try to find a job, he's currently working for a month, then he has a part-time job in october, which will allow him to have time to look for something else.
I just hope he'll find something, or i'll might end up with my butt in the streets... all of that because of a silly girl who believes in fairytales and who likes herself so much that noone else counts..

A 3 year contract sounds like something I wouldn't ever sign..
I'd advice to make sure she'll still pay till the end of the contract, though, because with what you've written here
it seems she'll try to run from that , too..
If she lives somewhere else she won't pay us..
I forgot to add something to give you an example on how "stupid" she is:
She was living in the house of the family she was working for, just coming back for Week-ends and holidays.
Therefore, she refused to pay her part in the Internet/ electricity and gas bill.
Uuuuh.. ok, but then on week-ends, no computer and you can't eat warm food/ take a shower, and you are forbidden to light up any lights, ok?... she seemed surprised when i said that.
Eh, it's not because you are away for work that the bill don't need to be paid!..

A contract is a legal bound. If you have it on paper that she has to pay it, she'll have to, legally.
It's never to late to get an autograph on a piece of paper so you're sure she will pay you..
and if you've got your name only on the rent contract, you can tell her to sign it, or you could throw her out immediately.
I just pray now that my twin will find a job...
I won't miss her, i can tell you!
I'll see if there's something we can discuss, if you want me to that is.
