It's up to you honestly, but for my own sona, I'd probably just dress him up according to how I feel ^.^'

I know you've asked us what do we think, but a fursona is something that reflects who you are or who you want to be. You are the creator of a character and you are the one behind it.
If you feel he needs to change or to be altered slightly, then do it for yourself if you think it will fit. Using others opinions is going to shape the character to how they think it will look best, not necessarily what YOU want and what YOU feel would be a better idea...
Wizerdwolf has said above that they shaped their character to how they wanted them to be. He's right, it's up to you :)
