Question, what was the pattern on the skin and, what color was it?

Black with skinny yellow bands. And I'm in ga, I think there are only like 5 venemous snake species here.. Then again it was on the boxes that traveled from Texas, possibly could have traveled.

I think it was an eastern kingsnake. Closest match I saw in the breeds in Georgia.

Hmm, those can be a bit scary.

Its simple. You suffer from something called " Wtfisdat-itis ". When you see something then you find something completely off putting. That or you were traumatized as a kid and constantly got sunburn and flakey skin. I dunno I'm not a doctor. So how are you? :)

My guess is that it indicates hidden danger. An actual snake is something completely real, to which you would act with a definite action.

A skin is a suggestions that somewhere, there may be a snake and it may bite your ass :3 But then again, it may have already died or left. Or maybe it's behind the next box, ready to strike.

Or maybe that was a skin that you or your parents collected in the past, in which case my theory has no sense xD

That is the conclusion I came to myself :P when I see an actual snake I can just walk around, who knows of this snake is behind the next place I reach. Even if it isn't poisonous the little guy could still bite... If it isn't poisonous I kinda want to find it and move it.. It's dangerous in the giant tower of boxes :c

*nods* Hidden danger :3 It's like if you were digging through an old, dusty attic, filled with tons of stuff and you saw several dead wasps here and there - they might have just got stuck here in the summer and died, but then again, there might be a wasp nest behind the next thing you move :P

And it does sound dangerous, digging through a mountain of boxes, with a potential snake on the loose O.o Still, if there aren't any rats or mice in the basement, it wouldn't have any food, so I wouldn't worry about it ^^
