I know it will get better hopefully sooner rather than later. After living with someone for five years then living alone for the past few months I really miss holding him and being held the most.

I can relate to that. I don't know the details of the situation and I won't pry, but I'm sure whatever happened, did so for a reason. It may have been unpleasant or painful, but in the end this may be better for you. Take this time to worry about yourself and figure who you are and where you would like to go now.
