who in their right (not sheep mind) would buy the latest cod :O The gaming market is stagnant at the moment because making a game cost (a AAA dev millions of dollars,or respective currency) and right now developers are scared to waist money on anything other then what sells (shooters). being excited by this witch in of its self is the ninth instalment of the call of duty series shows two things. one you need to game more. two the gaming market is going to stay stagnant for a while. and being someone that loves the gaming market...that depresses me..

shooters sell more obviously but for more reasons you would know plus idk if resident evil 6 is considered a shooter i thought it was a horror plus all the new sports games to

I study game journalism. And you did not teach me anything. zombies and the poorly made campaign* were new, in 2008. Shooters like this need to start selling less. Shooters are out played and stagnating the entire industry. We need to see more innovative and newer experiences. but publishers wont green light any because they are scared to lose millions of dollars on making a game that is not shooter because thick MCstupid sheep lines up for the newest cod every time.
games like amnesia the dark descent are horror. indie games like journey, braid, or even shooters with amazing stories like spec ops the line are getting passed up by call of duty all the time. and it disturbs me.

Sports games are another story in of its self. it shocks me how sports game never bring anything new to the table other then a roster update. but morons buy them.


I guess I am sick of games lacking in the story department.
But we need more games that use new gameplay mechanics. Have meaning full in depth characters.
and aren't just "shoot the thing"
It amazes me how gamers don't see this.

hey pupp, if you like shooters. then get spec ops the line. or just rent it on a weekend. and play through the story. it will amaze you.
