I use Watcher cause I find "Art Whore" to be kind of an insult to the people who willing support artists by buying commissions

Honestly surprised there isn't a "Commissioner" identifier.

That's something that's bothered me for awhile actually. The artists are the ones putting their skills out there for price, so aren't they the whores by definition, since that is what whores do? Or does the term apply to the amount of art the commissioner gets in an effort to fully show off and display their character? Which part of the definition do you use? D:

You could follow the logic of the artists being the whores, as they are putting their skills out there for a price.. BUT you might also say that an art whore is a fan who has no artistic skill and no money and tries to get art via less conventional means, perhaps through befriending or sexual companionship..?
