Observations of a Roo

General
I do information Technology and largely I believe its a good thing which should be used to bring people together. But why is it lately I can't jump into an online game with a "friend"? Usually I can find at least one game but dayum this week has proven to be exceptional. Meanwhile in the real world, the neighbor kiddy-corner to this house just bought a pool table and set it up in his garage. He invited me, a complete stranger to play and it was a good time. None the less, I'm starting to have my doubts about the Information Age regardless of being an engineer supporting it.
Maybe its one of the downsides or curses to being a roo; to be treated like a pest at times. That and maybe today's world has lost a dependable distinction between 'contact', 'acquantence' and 'friend' with the devil the devil waiting in the details whenever I hop a fence. Its a curse I'll bare. Any sooty kangaroo is accustomed to catching heat.

I wouldn't call you a pest (I know someone who is a pest to me though won't name them) but I would consider you a friend at least if not an acquantence here. I suppose for the two of us our issue for playing might be timeframes, I know we both share quite a few of the same games.

Oh yeah, as far matching time frame, we're like night and day but that can't be helped ;D

The information age has connected us and made us more informed, but it still doesn't compete with real world relationships ;)

Fo Shiz. You're unique since I've met you on the real end of the spectrum as opposed to online. Along with Choasreign, Kijani, SilverWolfe, and Itabise. I really must say that it does make a difference. Most of them don't play online as much and though we all fursuit, we're much different people in professions and skills. Yet, for some reason, it works out better when we get together. Those are the best times.

Too right!

It may be due to the proliferation of good, popular multiplayer games. Perhaps this spreads us out a lot more, making it harder to get on the same game together.

Not for my particular problem but I do agree with proliferation of good games especially when they release around the same time.

I rather suspect folks are more objecting to the 'eating their garden' part than the 'hopping their fence' part. :-3
