I'm glad no one actually sent me money because there weren't a lot of vendors that had plain hides, bones or feathers this time, and a lot of food vendors though ^.^

That sounds good, once I get some assortments together I'll take some photos of scrap stuff and let you pick out a few things and vice versa. I'm looking now to get a hold of small bones and teeth. Actually, if you want a silver fox tail just for crafts I have one that isn't in perfect condition, and I was gonna use it just for fur accents, but I can give ya half of that, lol

oh ok :D sounds like a plan :3 i'm gonna finish cleaning the bones i do have :) most of them are from a bird of some sort and a(n) opossum, but i also have some spare deer bones as well (those just need to be whitened) but yea :) let me know

The one thing I would like to buy if I can scavage to find them is a decent skull of a rather large coyote. Sometimes, here in my state, that seems to be rare to find...as to why, I don't know if people are always kill them...>_> Seriously?

Coyotes Are rare as roadkill or other types of kills, it's not just you.

Either people are lying about how many coyotes there are in the wild or they're insainly smart about staying away from roads. I personally never see coyotes. Not alive, not dead, not at night, not in the mornings, not never. I live in very rural Indiana, I would assume they're everywhere by how everyone bitches about them but I'll be damned if I have ever seen a single live coyote in the 15 years I've lived here.

To be frank, I think these hicks are morons. They complain about coyotes killing calfs and deer and go out of their way to trap and kill them but the ones who keep doing it are actually wild dogs. I do see those fuckers all the time an they are not friendly.

Well, even getting that kinda skull wouldn't be bad if I didn't feel horrible about getting it from the animal itsele. I wanna go to a taxidermist shop to obtain one, but who knows how much it'll cost outta the wazoo worth of it >_>

I agree totally with you cause in my area, they say there are there and we live with alot of woods around us, but yet I see no wild animal in site or of the sort...it tickes me off cause I'd like to take natural pictures of it for reference as well as possibly hoping that it might be harmed (hopefully, that's not as bad as I made it cause I only want one).

I've seen them but only on highways, as roadkill, but it's very rare. I know I've seen them though, not in neighborhoods but in rural areas, but we have mountains not too far. I know a lot of people think grey foxes are them when it's poultry attacks, but typically if 'yotes are around you hear them at least from time to time.

I wanted one off those skulls to possibly make into a representation of my grandfather who will be passing soon. I know that you can't get a wolf skull where I am unless there is a pretty price involved, but I would like to have it cleaned and such so I could draw and do my art on it for him in respect to him when he passes.

I wish sometimes that I know the kills that farmer has down the road would be able t be given to me and I'd take it to get it cleaned and tided up.

Cuz if its York, PA: you may have just become my new best friend and can expect to hear from me quite a bit haha(I'm in the Lehigh Valley): I'm always looking for fresh herbs/essential oils: and they're harder to come across than you'd think out here: I'm from WI, and there was this FABULOUS little shop that mixed all their oils there, and had a VAST array of oils. LOVED it. Unfortunately, it went out of business, and I'm now in PA: so I'm stuck getting my oils from GNC and the like, which I hate. I do know how to mix my own oils, I just don't have a reliable source for herbs and the like. SOOOO ya.

What sort of oils/herbs have you been trying to get?

Well as I mentioned, the store that I got my oils on were premade: high quality though which is why I'm still so picky about it to this day: I'd LOVE to find a reliable source for Eucalyptus, Cypress, Tea Tree, Hyssop, Rosemary, and Vetiver oils. Some of those are oversea oils, I believe, but those are the ones that i use most commonly for both my Henna, and massage therapy/natural therapy. But those are just the ones that I use commonly: I'm always on the lookout for others too: my biggest problem is that its nearly IMPOSSIBLE to find vetiver/vetivert oil around here. I have looked EVERYWHERE in the nearby area. True, it lasts me a while ( I'm still using my tiny little bottle from when I was in WI) but it does lose its potency after a while, and I am running out. If you've never used it before, it is AMAZING for all sorts of swelling and itchy bites. Every now and again you'll find a spider bite that it won't work with (which has to deal with the fact that it probably has a small dose of venom/saliva that neutralizes the oil) but I must say it is GOD for mosquito bites: which I get all the time because I work outside... and going into the night a lot of the time, so they swarm the shit out of me.

I probably won't be able to travel down anytime soon ( money's tight atm and my car is a whiney little thing) but that soulds great!

We'll I'll keep this list in my phone and if I see any I'll grab a price for you, I can always mail ya something If you need. I go to a farmers market around here that I KNOW has at least 2 permanent stands that sell a lot of essential oils. I use tea tree and peppermint a lot and this is the place I like to go to.

awesome! As I said, I do know how to extract the oils from most herbs, and if you can find the raw herbs, that works well as well: and since you're so close, they likely wouldn't go too bad in the time it takes to mail it here should you find some. I AM SO EXCITED :D:D:D
I've checked out all the farmers markets around here: nothing but cooking herbs. It's incredibly disappointing.
