Hey guys, sorry for going dark for a bit there. I've been hard at work, though, finished a story on Friday, actually. Along the same theme as Bibliophile, but expanded somewhat. It's for somebody, though, and I'm waiting to get the final stamp of approval before I actually post it here, but don't worry, I think it'll be worth the wait. n_n
Starting work on an Eric and Milo story, meanwhile, since it's been a while since I've written those two together (and unlike the last one, I promise this one won't end with Milo crying, poor dear). Had a bit of trouble to start with, but I think I've got a pretty good handle on it now.
Also been pondering an issue with A Blue's Arrival, which I did a while back, in anticipation of the next chapter, which I hope to get to sooner rather than aeons from now, when the Earth begins to cool. :B
Specifically, how Yajondra was described as being seven feet tall, yet with a long, flexible neck that makes the positioning of her shoulders make no sense unless she walks around with her neck held straight forward, which would be entirely silly. I was thinking of just retconning that out in the next bit, but then I remembered one of the red-bordered scenes in the last chapter only worked because of said long neck, so that's out. I suppose the easiest thing to do would be to just increase the number of feet in the description, but I don't quite want to make her tower over everyone, not to mention that I'll admit I really wasn't picturing her neck to be that much longer than a human's outside of that one scene. :P
Have to do some heavy pondering on how to make that work out, but I'm sure I'll figure something out eventually.
Finally, as a reward for reading all that, enjoy a ludicrous video, as is my custom.
JOURNAL OVER.

That line cracks me up every time, even still. Must be his tone of voice. >.>
Can't wait to see what you have for us. :3
Eric and Milo are also always fun. I look forward to where you take their story.
Speaking of main stories, uh, do you have anything in the works for Dave and Kelly? I've enjoyed watching their relationship grow, and I keep wondering where it's going or what'll happen next.
As for your issue with Yajondra's neck... that's an interesting conundrum. I think if you describe her as being rather lean, and with slightly different body proportions from humans, her longer neck might make more sense. I can understand not wanting to just increase her size, because that'll introduce its own problems, and it'd probably be rather obnoxious to change the scene in which her neck length is an important detail.
And as for the video: Huh. Well alright then. It was definitely ludicrous, yes.
