Man, Hollywood doesn't have a thing on the ocean depths when it comes to nightmarish organisms! I'd never heard of this particular species before, either, but it's both fascinating and a little bit eerie.

I still prefer vampire rabbits, though!

Me too. I'm not sure if it was a Nat Geo or from Monterey Bay Aquarium, but did you ever see the one where they found out that this one octopus was attacking and killing the sharks in their aquarium? They'd been finding dead sharks in the morninig and didn't know why so filmed all night and saw the action. Octopus and squids are seriously different creatures.
