Five miles and another world

Boxes, boxes, SO many boxes....
Moving day coming, probably about a month out, officially, but then it will be ohmugawdNOW so trying to get what I can packed and into offsite storage. Excited about actually BUYING new place for workshop, and if all goes well I'll have my MLS finished soon as well. Spring practicum, summer comprehensive exam and fall *cough*class-retake*cough* and then I'll be done. Looking for "job" in field, of course, but my end up going self-employed/"independent contractor" route for that as well as what i want to DO, is needed but not in the budget of any single library archive that I'm interested in working with.
Also will have separate building for workshop so I'm not underfoot and making a mess in the house. Will do good for both mate's and my own sanity to not have my workshop running over into the rest of her storage :p
Writing? Haven't done squat lately, honestly. Even the long form RP that used to scratch that itch (among others) has fallen by the wayside as so many folks have gotten busy. Heaven knows I'll get back to it, but for the moment the closest thing to fiction I'm writing is business plans ;)

I suppose at some point there will be a borrow/rent-a-truck-and-move-BIG-stuff day, but otherwise this is very much an ongoing project, hence the storage in the middle. We are swearing we are not moving anything until be go through it, to avoid throwing it in a box that will not see the light of day again. I'm sure there will still be some of that in the final push, but making headway. Also, finding books I forgot i had
