Can is not the same as must..
Muahahahah! I did something unexpected to some software program and it ended up eating my one of my most important file. All my stories are gone. Hahahahaha! Of course, I still do have my old backup stories but the most recent stories that I wrote, it has all disappeared and I don't know how to retrieve it back. It's not in my recycle bin. That's for sure.
I have no idea what I did but I was playing around with this software called 'Folder Locker' It locks any folder that you want to keep it safe and can only be opened with a password. All of a sudden, i clicked on something called 'encrypt' and it starts processing whatever shit and it locks that file. I'm like.. okay... it locks. find and dandy but then, i cannot open it back! I'm like... oh shit! WTF! I can't open the file again! It's not in my folder and whatever. So, I thought that perhaps, if I delete the software, whatever program it has to lock the folder will be unlocked but it got worse. Haha! Now my whole file is gone!
What's worse, I have stuff in there that are important and a half written story that's about 5k long and it was for a story competition. From the looks of it, I'll have to pull myself out from the competition. LOL! And it has pictures that my close friends had drawn for me before. Everything inside, furry related, disappeared. My most important file is missing! Wweee!
So now, it seemed that I won't be writing for a while. And all of my stories are gone. Now, I'm depressed. LOL! and it had one of a few of my fap materials, some which are very sexy and hot. LOL! Wwwweee~~~~

Everything was still on dropbox, until his daughter logged onto her account on the same computer. I didn't realize that you had to uninstall ALL INSTANCES OF THE PROGRAM from ALL USERS before deleting all the files. All files on the dropbox were deleted, but luckily anything deleted on there can be retrieved since dropbox backs it up. Still pissed off some supervisors and store managers
But yeah...you really shouldn't mess around with files or programs you don't understand...
Dropbox is another great way to back things up - you can make it so that your story folder is automatically uploaded and updated online so you don't have to worry about it.
