I just noticed that monday is the columbus day holiday. I'll be free the whole day, and that evening is the bowling thing in Needham.

awesome! im looking for a nice private park to have fun, play some frisbee and get fursuit photos. i have yet to find the spot but im thinking the event will be held on a saturday, sunday, or even monday (Columbus day)!

As a park suggestion, the Bear Hill Trail in Stoneham, Mass. (Sheepfold gate) might be worth looking at. Lots of free parking, wide and well maintained gravel trails, and if people have the gumption to go to the top (roughly one mile) from the tower you get skyline views of Boston.

The down side, nowhere to change except in cars, and it would require walking past the dog running area.
