The pathetic rantings of a thirty-something mind

It really sucks to say this. Really really sucks, but I have to.
I've been on academic probation since last year, and I had the first block of this year to make up my grade. I've been eligible for suspension since the end of block 9 of last year because of my bad grades. It was my responsibility to get better grades this year; a C or better, to be exact. This first block, my grade was a D+. I can't tell you how frustrating it is to be so close, and yet failing.
As a result of this, I'm leaving Cornell.
Earliest I could come back is January, because I need to sort things out. I've got some inner issues that I need to deal with, and I'm sure I have to take some classes elsewhere to keep my credits up. I'll do my best to keep in contact with my fellow Cornellians, but I can't make any guarantees. I'm really sorry.
Thanks for making Blackout (a 96-hour LAN party) my most satisfying final hurrah.
Yeah. This is a couple days old. I'll be out of college by next Saturday or so.

Very sorry to hear it. For what it's worth, I nearly dropped out this semester. Some people just need time to breathe, others just aren't university material.
