Cancelling the queue
13 years ago
I'm officially ending the 'commission queue' way of doing things.
I won't be taking any more commissions via queue any longer. it's just not working out how I planned.
I'll be possibly taking some commissions later down the road, but the burden the queue has on my mind is unwanted. It was an experiment to see if I could handle it and well, I have the results.
I'll still be doing DFDs, and may even take the random odd commission on a journal to journal basis (possibly with specific themes) but I just can't handle potential workloads on a mental level. It stresses me out and feels like I'm behind on some non-existant schedule. I know you're all patient, and lovely people who will tell me "no no, take your time really it's okay" and I really do appreciate it, but it's not about that.
I'm sorry if this is upsetting, but don't think you've lost out at your only chance to get art from me.
Like I said, there will be future spots for commissions on a journal to journal (slot based) basis. I really do look forward to working with people more, I just need a more stress free way of doing it.
anyways, just wanted to let people know.

This is the third time I've tried a queue-based system myself. Both times before I eventually melted down under the stress and stopped drawing all together for a while.
After a few days of not being able to draw due to unfortunate circumstances, I've got like ten pictures in my list and I'm really starting to feel uneasy again. ; x;
