Can't waste our time on hateful people like you. It's High School All Over -_-
But I Personally Loved W,IM Because Of Everyone Who WAS In That Band.
I Dislike Austin Because He Made Of Machines Go Away >:/
But new woe sounds like a ripoff of volumes and tried djent or some shit like that

What I liked about Issues is that they're trying different things. I've aaaalways wanted to see scratching in a hardcore song and they pulled it off. As for everything else they're trying...I dunno. A little too much djent going on for my taste, and Mike's screaming has shriveled up and I don't think screamed rap really suits his style. Or any style for that matter. The verses are shitty, the production is kinda trashy but the choruses are catchy as shit.
WIM on the other hand, I don't care for the djenty intro but everything else about the song is just so good. Especially the lyrics. These lyrics shit on Issues' lyrics. Dick-in-your-throat lines or not haha. It sounds so much better and at first I was kinda like "aww they changed their sound" buuut it's not that different. Doriano and Hance make a great duo. But my favorite thing about this song is how it progresses. It starts off all pissed and angry but gradually builds up into this sort of...almost kinda pop-punky end. Maybe that's not the best word but it sounds positive as fuck and that's why I love it.
Overall, good and decent songs by both of them. I'll have a better opinion when I hear both albums, but I can't get over the feeling that either album isn't going to be as good as what these bands could do as one band.
The scratching thing in the Issue's song was interesting, but it didn't seem like an appropriate time for it to pop up. It would've been better used as a type of interlude towards the middle or end of the song.
Lyrically, I think they're both terrible. The phrasing on the Issue's song is especially bad ("If you cut records like Cocaine/ You could still have a fucking name/Yeah I took it too far and i know the truth hurts/But if you're scared bitch go to church"." That bit just sounded so rushed and awkward to me.). These are grown men and they're poking at each other like High School Sophomores. It's like I'm watching the whitest episode of "yo Mama" ever. ("It must be hard to talk shit with a dick in your throat" Are you kidding me?)
The only reason why i think the Issue's song is better is because i found WIM's to be... boring. Just boring. I don't know why. It doesn't stick with me like the Issues song does. Issues' was just much more memorable.
Though I'm severely disappointed by both of the, nonetheless. I KNOW all of those guys can do better. They should focus less on shit-talking and focus more on making something as memorable as Number[s]
Both bands should just grow up lol.
guys what if

Give or take a year and Issues will either be dead, or floating around opening up shows, and Woe, Is Me will have a brand new line-up. But until then, I'm just going to sit back and keep listening to SECRETS while this whole thing blows over -shrugs-
