First day at the new job!
Well I was called the other day and asked to start today, so I did just that! I already like this company more than the last one I was at. It's small, the entire staff is about 25 people strong, so it's much more personal. I still am doing medical assembly, but there is much more variety on the products we put out. Currently I am working in the clean room, but they let us have mp3 players in there as long as only the cord for the ear piece shows. Everyone seems very nice, though I am not sure where I fit in yet socially, as most of the staff speak Hmong and choose to talk among themselves, I'm not too sure where to give my input or joke around yet, but we'll see! They all bring lots of really good food to share at break times though! Lots of self grown veggies and fruits, very awesome.
Other awesome things are this job are they do not penalize you for taking a day off for being sick or being late by a minute. My last job, each and everything would be an "occurrence" and you could only have 6 (but really 5) occurrences before they would fire you. This place understands that we are humans, not machines, and that we do get sick or make mistakes, or that the bus can run late. I like that a lot about them. There is also never mandatory overtime, but you can take overtime any day you like. They just have it up for offer if anyone ever wants to stay late or come in on weekends. No pressure to do so or not.
In other news, I am happy to say that the Collie fursuit I had for sale is now SOLD! The awesome
wanted him, and honestly I think he is going to be a great performer for that character! The collie is also now named Chance, so look out for a partial of him to be posted soon, and then that pup will be bouncing around ZooBoo this year as well!
Hope everyone is well and thank you all for your encouragement and wonderful comments you've all left me through the good and the bad times. <3 You guys all rock.

I hate to sound like a pest, but any chance we could meet up again sometime to fiddle with my suit some more? I just worry we might run out of opportunities if things get busy for both of us and I shelve it for another year like last time. :<
I'm only free weekends of the meet, but I doubt that's too much of a concern.
+ Plus, I'd be happy to model for you anytime! :)
In regards to the fursuit, THANK YOU so much for selling him to me! I can't really explain why I decided to pounce on this suit in particular. I felt some sort of connection, as silly as that sounds. Definitely keep making suits in your spare time - you are really becoming awesome at making them!
Can't wait to give Chance a spin at Zoo Boo. Plus, as an added benefit, the staff there will no longer be able to call me, "that guy in the polar bear suit"
