Being taught to avoid talking about Politics and Religion has led to a lack of understanding of Politics and Religion. What we should have been taught was how to have a civil conversation about a difficult topic.
Last night. My beloved Volkswagen blew it's transmission linkage and perhaps other things and has left me car-less. the mechanic can probably find one for $350, but it will be a while before I can manage that much money. I am thinking probably my tax return. it has put me "Back on my feet again".
