On Resales and Resells

Hmm. Have a few questions for you guys, and if anyone has an opinion feel free to comment (although if you comment 'adopts are stupid' you are just going to get banned from this page :D)
Point 1: I have bought a few adoptables from other people that they were reselling. Basically someone commissioned a design or bought one premade from a artist selling designs. I want to show off some of these designs to people to commission, but on a few of the submissions on FA, the original owner's name is on the piece as the owner/commissioner. So I want to link to these designs that I now own instead of the original owner, but I am afraid someone will pop in and go "You don't own that you are stealing!" or "WTF someone else's name is clearly on the original submission, why are you saying it is yours." Just wondering if it would make sense to send a note to the original artist to say "Hey can you change that information" or have the original owner post the same to the artist or original submission saying that I now own the design. Or should I just post the design to my own gallery and say 'Hey I bought this off of x who got it originally from y', which is what I have done with at least one character.
bllurg that was long and I don't know if it made any sense. Also stands as another reason I am not usually into buying resales.
Point 2: In looking over some of my adopts I have at least two that either I don't feel that attached to them or I don't know what to do with them. I am tempted to resell them, and I know I didn't pay a ton for them (like each would be $3 USD). Anyone on here interested? I could always put up a posting as a submission on FA, but hardly anyone goes by this page, so I might as well as in this journal first.

If that's your stand then go ahead and sell them but not more than what you originally bought it for. I also recommend letting the original artist know what your plan is and if you have created your own drawings of it how much said artist would allow you to increase price, some don't allow it and demand you sell it for the same price it was going for.
Your first sentence surmises point 1. Your second sentence is not related to point 1. Point 1 is saying Joefur bought an adoptable from you, I bought it from JoeFur. Your original submission still has JoeFurs name on it as the owner. I want to show off the piece to another artist for reference, but with JoeFur's name on it I am worried they will think I am stealing the character. Is it up to JoeFur or myself to tell you that Joe no longer owns the design?
But yes, I do know the typical unspoken rules of reselling adopts and will look into the terms from the original artist for my own characters I am reselling. For point 2 I was just asking if anyone was interested in some adopts resold for cheap. If not I do not really care. *shrugs*
As for your second point if you wish to sell them and have already everything in place just post it up as a submission with the price and original artist's name. I personally believe people look at submissions before they look at journals. If they look at journals it was because they like the artist or the title caught their eye.
