We all have a self image, right? How we perceive ourselves? Well, this carries over to our fursona as well, or at least it does to me and mine. And I'll bet it does for you too. Sooooo........
Is there ONE picture of your fursona that you feel is absolutely perfect? Reveals exactly what you look like in your minds eye? Has your attitude down pat?

One pic would be hard to capture "me", though. Been kinda thinking about getting something a little more feral/pet-oriented, but even that's just another part of me, not the whole. ^_^;;

Though I wish I could figure out how to get hold of a copy of the model so I could tweak and fine-tune it a bit more in a better modelling program than SL's built-in one.
Since I have no talent for drawing, my options are limited.
If I could get hold of the base model (and a new PC!) I could indulge in some offline tweakery in a 3D modelling program like Blender or something. (I'm not so good at that either, but I could probably get somewhere eventually with practice).
Ideally I'd like to create my own similar design from scratch, but that's way out of my league unfortunately.
I've drawn a sexy hyena girl also, that's Mary. Big buf hyena!
Anyway Mary the Hyena is all fluffy and soft, and she takes care of herself. She's just very natural!
The problem with pubic hair (fur on characters) and armpit hair is enhanced by the mass-media's, especially advertising: "Buy razor XXXXX and be as smooth as a newborn! Buy YYYYY deodorant not to smell like a beast!" It works very well when repeated everyday. It makes money, much money, and all that stuff ain't always good for the skin. Natural soap is cheaper.

But my ideal picture would be to have Zech leaning up against a wall, an Australian styled hat with sunglasses, wearing his trademark trenchcoat, dark red muscle shirt, and dark blue jeans, observing people over his sunglasses.
Calm, analytical, and just badass in general.
I hate not having money...though I am about to get Borderlands 2. Been waiting forever to get my hands on that game.

I live in the real world and I think I'm pretty good at keeping fantasy and reality separate and keeping my priorities intact, but I'll be the first to admit I'm just the sort of loser who uses fantasy as an escape. Megan herself is a perfect example of this, really. She's everything I want to be and will never reach, but she lets me at least touch it once in a while. Which, if that sounds self-pitying, it's not meant to. I'm grateful to have Megan and to have this community and all these wonderful artists who help me express myself through her and who accept her, and me, for who we are.
The Only a Dream Away picture would probably work, too. It's one of the most down-to-earth pictures I have of Megan, and I do spend an awful lot of time with my nose buried in a book, too.
Now how about you? I'd love to see which picture you'd pick for this.
Not so oddly, my choice for the perfect picture of Liane is chosen for many of the same reasons you seem to have. Liane is so very self confident and comfortable with who she is. She is attractive, young enough and healthy. A teeny bit dom, which I'd kill to be able to pull off IRL, but can't because I'm a bit too shy. And she loves to be comfortable as often as possible. (translate as nakey or nearly so)

I'm glad I didn't come off as self-pitying. I always try my best to keep Megan, and anything to do with her, cheerful and upbeat and to focus on the positive. Rabbits should bring people happiness, after all!
As for the picture you chose, that's pretty much the one I expected and it's really the first one that comes to mind when I think of Liane. Not so much because she's naked, but because of how comfortable she always is with herself and the way she practically drips with self-confidence. To be honest, I think she's a perfect fit for you, too. So maybe you wouldn't act exactly like she does, or dress (or undress) the way she does, but you and Liane are perfectly matched in terms of your kindness and generosity, not to mention sheer awesomeness.
I know that pic is no surprise. I can't remember how many people I've told that it's my fave of all time of Liane. And for those reasons exactly. And no, I don't act like she does. Exactly..... And I'll take the fifth on the dress/undress issue. As to the rest of it, I think those attributes you apply to me and Liane are just as much a part of you. Maybe that's one of the reasons we became friends. We think a lot alike.
I guess this one fits me best, as far as the why, I suppose I could say that it's the gentleness in her eyes, as well as just how the overall impression represents how I like to be seen by others. I'm not sure what else to say, other than that I like it. Clemi does the most perfect eyes.

I remember that picture. And it does show your sweet side rather well. I'm a little surprised you didn't pick one of yourself as the warrior bear though. That's how I think of you. A great ravening warrior, bearing a war hammer when aroused to fury. Yet a most proper and protective gentlebear towards the ladies.

That's a great attitude too! I wish mine was that upbeat. I agree with you totally about not worrying what other people think of you. As long as I'm happy in myself, I won't let someone else's disapproval mean a thing to me.
