RainFurrest escapades!

General
So RainFurrest 2012 has come and gone and it was a great deal of fun! (Although, as usual I mostly just sat at my table drawing stuff.) I didn't get to hang out as much this year because I couldn't afford a room so had to commute back and forth from Tacoma. One extra-curricular activity I DID indulge in this year was that I shoe-horned myself into the Variety Show! In spite of the fact that I haven't performed on stage before a live audience in something like 23 years...and in spite of my general feelings of inadequacy over being chubby and old, I think it went well. I presented "Yakko's World", the Nations of the World song from Animaniacs...and as an encore rattled out Tom Lerher's "The Elements Song". And I managed to get through them without tripping all over myself...the way I did at the rehearsal. :p
Here's a video that someone made at the event and posted on YouTube:

This video only has the Yakko's Wolrd section, and it's a lot clunkier than it seemed like it was to me when I was doing it...but there it is.
Enjoy! (Or endure...)
Anyway, this is the only furry con I've been able to do this year. Things have definitely been difficult since I lost my job a few months ago. (There's a story I need to tell on here at some point. It was REALLY surreal!) My goal right now is to find a new job, work on my comics and get things back to normal! BTW--if anyone knows of a job for an artist/designer/cartoonist in the Tacoma/Olympia or Seattle area, please let me know!
Cheers and hugs!

I wish you the best with finding a job (where are you looking, and what type of job are you looking for?).
