What inspires you?

existence. the clamour inside my head. migraines, bourbon, moonlight. brotherhood.

what is your favorite kind of art?

all of it. but mostly sculpture and other 'in the round' art. i have a really hard time making three-dimensional stuff myself, or even visualizing it in my head, so seeing other people who can do it so effortlessly is really mystifying to me.

What are the most noteworthy differences between flavor and arithmetic?

well, for starters, i has a flavour and i understand it quite well, but i do not, in any way, understand arithmetic.

How about flavor and colour?

less distinct. sort of interchangeable to my senses. :D

Just colour, or the whole visual realm? Can you think of any ugly-but-lovable flavors?

colour <-> flavour mostly. ugly flavours are things like... mushroom gravy, which has a weird brown-purple-yellow association. meats are pretty ugly in general. sour foods are 'ugly' in that they have really oversaturated harsh colour harmonies associated with them -- pink/green and stuff.

i get a bit of colour and shape from sounds too, but only really harsh or extant tones, like noise tracks. 'real music' is too muddled.

The blippy high-energy 8bit shit I love so damn much. Sweet, sour, bitter? By extension, blue? Green? Orange?
Or something darker, like Blind Guardian. Dark brown, reddish? Meaty?

chiptunes are sort of sour-bright, yeah. lots of red and orange.
the stuff i listen to is... thick. tapioca or cottage cheese, the sludgy meatybits-in-gravy that's left at the bottom of a bowl of stew. all dark sludgy colours with little highlights of white and yellow. |3

no, but certain music makes me crave certain foods. portishead is inexplicably linked to vanilla ice cream in my head. that's what it sounds like. dido, too.

sea snakes! though i dont know how 'deep-sea' they are. but c'mon, cute AND venomous. for really deep-sea though, i guess any of those anglerfishy things with the glowing head-lures. or a vampire squid.
