Last day of coloring contest!!!

madykatt has been logging onto my account and making announcements. Just for anyone who might be concerned, this is perfectly alright with me. She is my art manager and is on my butt to get the artwork done. Everything has become really busy since i moved in with her and she is just looking out for me as well as you guys, my wonderful followers and costumers. Once last thing regarding a journal that i wrote several months ago regarding my stollen dog.
The story behind it is my friend was trying to make things work for the sake of her 7 year old son between her and his father, so her son could have his dad in his life. Basically, shit went to hell 5 months after she moved in with him. This is after she got a puppy for her son. She had given me the puppy after she was forced to become homeless with her son. Unfortunately i was unable to pick the dog up from the apt right away due to getting really sick. The puppy was left in the front yard, with a dog house, huge water bowl and food bowl an the gat was padlocked. The dog was literally in the yard a day and a half when i was well enough to pick up the dog. When i got there, the dog was gone along with his dog house and food bowls.
After 2 months of looking for the dog and getting the run around from the apt owner and the neighbors, my friend gets in contact with me again. Apparently, her sons father stole the dog and killed it to hurt my friend and her son. The guy tells her this in fron of a judge during a custody battle for her son. His excuse? He said that the puppy contracted rabies and had to be put down. THIS WAS A LIE. I personally drove my friend to the vet when the puppy got his shots, including his rabies shots. This poor innocent puppy was killed because of one asshole and his goal of hurting what should be his family.
Im posting this late, weeks after it happened. I just realized i never let anyone know what had happened. Admittedly, i am still really upset about this because i feel a little like it was my fault that this happened to that poor puppy. If i had not been sick and just got the puppy right away, he would be alive. The dog was in fact given to me to take care of unti my friend and her son had a place where they could have the dog... im really sad that she had to tell her son that his first pet ever was killed by his father, for the sole propose to hurt him...
