Hello all I just arrived back at my house after my grand adventure to Orlando to meet my favoritest birdy ever for Halloween Horror Nights.
Let me just say that I think that this may have been the best weekend I've had in possibly forever. I've never had so much fun being scared and running from people that are wielding chainsaws, scythes, and honky horns. The houses were really great this year (Walking Dead was the scariest, Gothic had the best sets, and Alice Cooper freaked me out to no end for no describable reason.) I was a huge wuss the whole time but Apollo was pretty great about keeping me save, and didn't even get mad when I hid behind him when the chainsaw people came at us in droves, but that's just because he's awesome. My man was a good protector all right. We managed to do all the houses and even see all the shows. I think he wanted to volunteer for the Magic Show but I was scared and didn't let him go on stage (there was a guillotine up there and I like his head where it is thank you very much).
The next day we went and saw a movie, Frankenweenie in 3D. It was surprisingly dark but very very enjoyable. Then we watched Walking Dead all day at the hotel...there may have been snuggling involved. That may have been my favorite part...
Well now that I've gushed I'll just let everyone know that I am home safe and sound if not a little sad and missing him horribly. This is the real deal...I can't wait to see him again.
