Good on ya mate. I came out to my parents as BI roughly a year and a half ago then as gay a little after that. When I came out as BI my parents kept hoping for "prince charming" but I kept telling them I was attracted to females more than males... Then I totally came out as gay, got confused because I could no longer feel anything, then gave up on love entirely a few months after I came out as gay about May of 2011... THEN, with a little help from a friend, my now girlfriend found me and I could not be happier. My parents have pretty much accepted that this is how I am because we have been dating for 14 months now. :)

I am out to my friends and family but I still feel like I'm in the coming out process. I know for a fact that i am gay but there are still things that i need to discover. I hate the fact that sexuality isnt as cut and dry as society wants it to be...

Hey no problem. I've been there, it takes time and unfortunately you have to discover on your own.

I'm out to my mom n shes great with it, not my dad cuz he's a verbally abusive ass. But to my 3 group of awsome nerdy friends, yes.
