now im not begging for invites, im going to make a $5 donation so i can get on there soon enough.
The website looks cool and I think it would be tons of fun. I'll probably make the donation later on today so if someone WANTS to invite me before then, your totally welcome to.
I'm not quite sure yet how it differs from other galleries YET. but that's probably because i'm not a member. I'm looking forward to joining however.

So right now I think donations are the only way in, and I don't know if that is a guarantee.
At this time, the thing I am actually most curious about weasyl is -- whether it's really just a marketing hype by limiting access and thus creating a drive in people to get there, or does it actually have something noticeably superior to other sites to offer?
Take the Pebble for example. They made quite a hype, nabbing the 10M mark... Then said, "Oh... We didn't expect that much, so our business plan of shipping in September doesn't work out." Which was an outright lie, because they are still in development phase and that doesn't depend on the volume.
What are some of the perks of going to weasyl? is it a better setup or aiming to have a bette reputation of art quality?
