Big changes coming

So, some of you know, I work at a hotel. This hotel is 45 minutes away from where I live, and I'm currently going 32 hrs/wk. Yesterday I got into work, and the log book said that the current night manager just gave her two weeks' notice, and she'll be gone come the 28th. I'm next in line for the position, after having been working here for two months now. So, when I get back from a retreat at the end of the month, I'll be moving out of my parents' house and out on my own.
Because the best part? As the night attendant, I get to live here, in the room on the other side of the wall from where I am now. For free. And I get bumped up to full time. This, in the middle of getting my car set up, and the start of winter. October and November will be one hell of a ride.

Pretty much, haha. The room will be pretty small, but that's nothing I can't handle. I had to share a smaller room with a roommate for college, so this will be an upgrade. And, you know, I can look at FA without hiding my screen. :)
