Awesome artists I've commissioned:
wow…. so… i defeated The Phantom. and i mean. wow. he was tough thats for sure. i then went to the coliseum thinkin i was gonna fight Ice Titan, but no. i select the ????? and i rush into a arena, immediately i cursed my luck cause Sephiroth came down. i did fight him. and i did get recked. not before dealing a bar and a half of damage to him, if youve fought him you know his health bar is bigger than whats shown so yeah after that it was a bar and a half. i was shocked, then killed. next target is kurt zisa but i need items to heal.

I pretty much gave FF the boot after X (though KH isn't technically a FF game, it's somewhat close).
I spend 50+ hours playing blitzball so I could get Wakka's weapon. It broke my brain.
Though, not as much as the butterfly catching game or the chocobo racing... or dodging 200 lighting bolts.
Actually no... it was WoW that killed my "gamer drive".
I still play fighting games and some retro stuff, but I'm not an enthusiastic gamer these days.

I have to believe that FFX's ultima weapon had more hp than just about anything else in the history of the franchise. I can't imagine how long it would take without dealing 99,999 damage every hit
Though, Omega weapon from FFVIII was still a beast.
You basically NEEDED "heros" or "holy wars" to survive some of the attacks, and as far as I ever saw, you needed to collect rare cards to get them.
