Thank you for not giving up. My first full time job (besides the Navy) started out as part-time for six months. How did I get hired? I used to walk to work (about a 45 minute walk) and I showed up one night, when only five other people did. Even the roads were closed to traffic. It was bad winter night, but I needed the work. Let's hope you don't have the same luck with the weather. Congratulations! Oh, and when the boss asked me if I really walked to work. I said yes, because it was too nasty to drive.
