too many years. i'm a slow learner. but i've always been interested in things that people associate with being smarter then i actually am. so its what i enjoy doing on the computer. (the other thing, are the couple of train sims i have, bahn and trainz) my first 3d program was a semi-crippled version of autocad, (14.0) that was given as wedding present (early 90s). somewhere around release 2.39 i think it was, (2003, i'm not sure) i stumbled upon blender and i've been using it ever since. whatever year that was. the wedding was in the early to mid 90s. so yah, long enough that ought to be better at and understand more then i do. the mini-tower is on the floor to the right of my right leg. that's the old computer actually, that i keep intending to set up as a render farm. the ten times more powerful one is the laptop that sits on the shelf in front of me. both have slideshows going all the time when i'm not doing something on one of them. about half the 48,000 some odd images are furry and the the other half are of trains. only about a thousand of them are my own. the rest come from wherever i find then on the web.

my first love was actually model railroading, i grew up in the woods in the mountains in northern california. my dad worked for the railroad most of his life after i was born. in the stations and switch-towers.

i'm easy to not see in real life. nor do i make it to very many things very often. usually nothing obviously furry about me. i just wear green shirts and brown pants. i'm also rather small, male, and old.

oddly i wore my partial head one year and won scarriest with it. completely mystified as to why, but it was a small party.

furcons i've been to have all been the one in san jose. before that, i went to orycons (s.f.) when i lived in portland in the 80s.
