After a long drawn out discussion with all concerned parties, we have all decided that this was the best step to take. We are still going to be friends, and my mate and I are still going to be together and go on with our lives. I still feel shitty that I had to do what I did, but perhaps it was for the best. We can all go on and live our lives, and if someday in the future, we are able to meet and become more than friends, great.
