I still want info on your development environment and any resources you have. I'd love to have my next game run on an ipad!

Right now I code in HTML5/JavaScript, which is a really funny language actually. You can do crazy things with the prototype mechanics and anonymous functions. For a dev environment I use Aptana Studio 3 (free) and testing/debugging in firefox using the firebug plugin. Any good? ...eh. Not really up to par with my usual stuff tbh. I realize that is part of the language and one of the reasons that it can be so flexible, but I'm still annoyed that I have to playtest to find what should essentially be a compile-time bug (such as a misspelling on a variable or something) - if JS had compilation at all that is. I'm spoiled like that.

One major player that I'll definitely look into later is libgdx (http://libgdx.badlogicgames.com/). It is a framework for Java, so you get all the goodies from a compiled language (such as error detection before the fact). It has a large multimedia framework with ability to play sound, catch input, handle files, draw graphics both 2D and 3D. There even was a HTML renderer GUI layer in there. Main development environment would be Eclipse, which is a decent enough program.

The really neat thing here though is the deployment available. With literary no change to you major code base, you can publish your game to a huge number of libgdx backends, including:

Desktop (Java), Android (Java, touch controls), Web (HTML5/JS), and they are working on iOS support as we speak. All (or at least most) of the features of the framework is available on all the above platforms, meaning you can render 3D in your browser, should you want to.

All that being said, I'm gonna give HTML5/JS a shot for now, though I may end up switching to a better IDE if I can find one. Oh, and git for version control.

Well, Ember technically isn't in the game yet (but might be in the coming month or so). Kiha the dragon girl is implemented tho.

A while back, I got the idea to add Rahnee to CoC...but I never asked Fenoxo...

The way things are atm, you'd have to write the stuff yourself and do a pretty convincing job of it to get in :P

Fen got too much on his plate to write other peoples OCs (not that I'm speaking for him or anything, mind you).

Yeah, I remember he would take other peoples' chars if he liked their stories...
