So I broke my dremel

First time using, I'm trimming the excess off the mask I'm making, and suddenly it stops working. There were some times I felt some shocks, but thought it was static. Anyone know how to get it to start working again?

Is it still under warranty? If so, I'd return it to the store for a replacement.
