Only slightly though, dont worry.
I've been obsessed with otters for ages, and even have my secondary 'sona as one (ie, Samiake). But I'm far too attached to Shayde to simply throw him away...he's a major part of me now.
So I thought, why not mix the best of both? A labrador/ottter hybrid...an ottador. Thicken and lengthen the tail, give him some webbing between the digits, maybe shorten the muzzle a bit...
I'm still tossing up whether to do this or not, but theres no harm in trying, is there? I'll keep him as full Lab for the stories...but maybe as an everyday fursona, he can slip into this ottador niche.
Thoughts? Opinions? Tirades of horror?

Although in the grand scheme of things, labbys and otters aren't all that different except for size and whatnot. Labbys have webbed paws already, and coats made for swimming and hunting. But yea, add a thicker tail, maybe pronounce the webbing a bit more, and i think its the same thing. I wouldnt loose the fur pattern though its unique and your thing :D I like it.
It sounds like it would be a cute mix. x3
