Since the launch of the MancFurs twitter account earlier this year it has been a rousing success in helping organise the furmeets, communicating with the community and provided plenty of fun banter along the way (usually consisting of making fun of Stuart or Salford… or both).

We are fast approaching our 1,000th tweet and to celebrate we’re hosting a simple competition.

The Prize?

A ‘flat’ style commission of your character, worth 25 quid*, courtesy of our fantastic meet attendee  Outputt

How to enter?

How to win our prize?

- You will need a twitter account
- You must be following @MancFurs
- Tweet about what it is you like about the meets or about the MancFurs community in general.
- Have #MancFurs in your message
- Note that if you have a private Twitter account it may be necessary to MancFurs mention us as we might not see your message.

We will direct message everyone who enters to say we have seen their tweet. If you don’t receive a DM in a few hours you may want to get in contact with us.

What happens next?

We will keep track of each entry in a Google Spreadsheet and by the 1000th tweet we will announce the winner. This will be done using some number generator. Then after the congratulations you go get in contact with Outputt!

Terms & conditions

- One entry per person
- The prize is for clean art, be sure to check Outputt’s terms and conditions
- Open to MancFurs residents and meet attendees (though how we enforce that I have no idea)
- Generally we’re not going to spend forever checking each entry, but if you’re living in say Canada and make up some stuff about how you love our community we may choose to ignore your entry as it is not in the spirit and purpose of this competition
- We’ll do our best to track each #MancFurs entry but we can’t guarantee we’ll see it
- To avoid getting unwanted entries from people who clearly have nothing to do with MancFurs or MancFur meets, please resist making journals advertising this competition. We’ll get upset if people from the north pole start entering. We might also disqualify your entry.

* £25 is what we’re paying for this competition, but say you want an extra character or to upgrade the art style you’re more than welcome to pay on top of that.
