DO NOT GET Iphone 5 its fucked up if you do consider and Iphone get the 4S. and android wize the Galaxy SIII is top of its class and I hear many good responses.

Yeah I have to agree that as of right now the Galaxy SIII is looking to be the top android phone. Though I'll have to try it out and handle it in person, Build quality matters to me as well, and from what I can see the Galaxy is all plastic and if it feels cheap and frail then that will make me reconsider.

Well if your looking for strength all I have to say get a Lifeproof case. any phone with that case is almost indestructible. Iphones especially

Actually they can be pretty durable. Mine survived a 5 foot drop screen first onto pavement. I have a case but it isn't an otterbox or life proof case.

Oh yeah they can be, I mean iphones are very well made, it's just i tend to see way more cracked up Iphone screens versus android screens, but maybe its just how well people are taking care of their phones lol. And I'm sure any kind of case adds protection to a device as it absorbs shock from drops.

I was a Verizon Tech for a year and a half and I have to say I'm COMPLETELY shocked your Droid X lasted you this long, lol. Literally about 50% of my calls were about the Droid X having a billion problems. So you have good luck! As far as recommending a phone, I'm currently rocking the SGIII on Verizon (an upgrade from my Samsung Droid Charge which I loved but I dropped out of my truck) and I couldn't be any more happier. Of course... I paid the full $600 for it so I could keep my unlimited LTE so that I managed to snag last spring. ANYWAY, she's a beautiful, beautiful phone and I absolutely love 'er, lol.

Hey haven't heard from you in awhile! Yeah I was surprised I never experienced the problems almost everyone else did with the X. Technology just seems to like me I think haha. And I'm glad you are enjoying your SIII. I can't wait to go to the verizon store sometime this week to play around with it. It's the top choice so far!
What are your opinions about the RAZR HD?

The RAZR HD itself is pretty boss, but I'm incredibly, incredibly wary of Motorola's business practices. They may have gotten better since Google purchased them, but uh... well, example time!

1) Samsung, during the original manufacturing of the SGSIII, noticed slight, visual defects in the pearl of the outside case, and recalled most of them to make them perfect. Shows the company takes pride in it's manufacturing and appearance in my opinion!

2) Motorola, I noticed while working for Verizon, actually took the defective devices sent from customers, made little-to-no changes to the defective devices, and sent them out as replacement phones for people having the exact same problems. I thought that was just stupid. Throwing around the same phones hoping someone had a DIFFERENT problem solved and was happy? Just seemed so stupid to me. Of course, that was two years ago and I don't know what they do now, but I'm very, uh... worried I'd have that happen to me. D:

Oh I didn't know they were doing that, thanks for letting me know. I'll have to look more at Motorola to see if they have gotten better about that or not since Google got them.
